When I came back to the fence,I saw another motto under mine in the same handwriting as the first one.I wrote another one,and we kept doing this for quite a while.One day,I was writing a motto on the fence and the old man,who owned the fence,saw me .He was not known to be very friendly,and I was afraid he would be mad at me .He gave me a sharp glance and then read the mottos on the fence .Without saying a word,he went back inside.For a while ,I was afraid to go back to the fence,but when I did,I noticed two words in different handwriting had been added,"Thank you !"
