The average (arithmetic mean) of a list of numbers is what percent of the sum of the numbers?
(1) There are 8 numbers in the list.
(2) The sum of the numbers in the list is 100.
Statement (1) ALONE is sufficient,but statement (2) alone is not sufficient.
Statement (2) ALONE is sufficient,but statement (1) alone is not sufficient.
BOTH statements TOGETHER are sufficient,but NEITHER statement ALONE is sufficient.
EACH statement ALONE is sufficient.
Statements (1) and (2) TOGETHER are NOT sufficient.

选A啊,avg = sum/n
From S1, n=8, we have:
avg = sum/8
If the average is 1/8th of the sum, it's equal to 12.5% of the sum, and Statement 1 is sufficient.
