I'm Rebecca.My time in Ghana was full of good experiences.It was my 1 time to come to Ghana.I spent one month at the Children's Home.The 2 were so beautiful and fun to be with and we got on 3 with each other.
I was in Ghana during Christmas time,4 the children were not at school.This gave us the good opportunity to 5 them for the whole month,as well as the opportunity to teach 6 a little English.We made things through arts,and played a lot of games.Every volunteer I spoke to loved it.
Also,I helped 7 volunteers how to work as volunteers.It was great to play games with children and it's good to 8 other volunteers get on well withthe children.
Being in a new country helps our 9 know the meaning of real life.So retm'ningto the UK with confidence ,I soon found I would certainly 10 to Ghana for a third time in the future.In fact,for me,it's the 11 to stay at home!
Volunteering was a really positive experience.There were tears when we 12 the children,but we have some photos of them at the Children's Home and even better memories
