Mt Hua,one of the famous Five Sacred Mountains in China,is located in Huayin county,about 1,200 kilometers east of Xi'an,Shaanxi Province.
Ttransportation to Mt Huashan is very convenient.We can take a bus from railway station to the mountain.
When you are arrive at the foot of Mt Huashan,visit the Xiyue Temple,the largest old buliding featuring the Ming and Qing Dynasty in the northwest part of China,which was first set up in the Han Dynasty.After a short visit,you can have a rest in Lianhua Shanzhuang Hotel which is at foot of the Mt Huashan.
The next moring,you can go hiking up to the North Peak with a height of 1,614.9 meters,the lowest major peak of the mountain.Enjoy the pretty nature on the way,including the caves.The North Peak is also called Cloud Platform Peak since it is
surrounded by the cloud layer upon layer.In the late afternoon,arrive in the West Peak with a height of 2,082.6 meters.The overlapping ridges and grotesque rocks externally like lotus flowers,thus it has got a name of Lotus Peak.
Get up in the early morning and head for East Peak which enjoys a height of 2,096.2
meters.It is called the Sun Peak as it is the best place to watch sunrise.Then continue to visit the South Peak,the hightest peak of the mountain,which has a height of 2,160.5 metres.The route of the South Peak is extremely dangerous.The last of the destination is the Middle Peak with 2037.8 meters,featuring flowers and plants.
