你好,外国人在电话中,如果不知道对方名字性别等信息时,都是用it
此外,这种用it 表示人的情况还有在陌生人敲门时,屋内的人会问who is it ?而非who is he/she?

你好，who’s that 的确也是用于电话中的，但是是你接到电话直接问对方的
比如说，this is jack， who's that
文中问的是别人，而非打你电话的人
