there is 是“有”的意思,所以,原句是,教室里有个课桌.针对课桌提问,就要问教室里有什么,即what is in the classroom?而what is there in the classroom的意思是教室那儿的那个是什么呀?虽然勉强可以讲通,但人们不习惯那样说,而习惯用前者.
