The curve with equation y2 = x3 +3x2 is called the Tschirnhausen cubic.
Find an equation of the tangent line to this curve at the point (1,−2).
tschirnhausen cubic我不知道是什麽意思,就是要找这个曲线方程的正切相交得点.
不会怎麼解这种题,明天要用到,

这是指一种立方曲线,不用去管这个德国人名（钦豪申）怎么翻译.
题意是求曲线在点（1,-2）处的切线方程：
两边对x求导
2y*y'=3x^2+6x
y'=(3x^2+6x)/(2y)
代入x=1,y=-2
y'=(3+6)/(2*(-2))=-9/4
所以切线为y=(-9/4)(x-1)-2
即y=(-9/4)x+1/4
