Without foreign languages which are used by different people,we can't understand the difference of culture and history in the world.
difference后的介词我觉得用in比较好,虽然中文里是文化和历史的区别,但实际上的意思应该是在文化和历史方面的区别.

In order to promote the skill to communicate with the foreigners,learning a foreign language is necessary.
skill的动词不应该是promote,而是improve.
我们来看一下promote的英英解释：
If people promote something,they help or encourage it to happen,increase,or spread.
If a firm promotes a product,it tries to increase the sales or popularity of that product.
If someone is promoted,they are given a more important job or rank in the organization that they work for.

可以看到没有一条解释可以让promote和skill搭配使用.
另外,使用in order to的时候,其实这里还是一个不定式,不定式就必然有逻辑主语,所以主句里面的主语最好还是人,人才能improve communication skill.

First of all,an advantage of foreign languages is that broaden our horizons,and improve our understanding of advanced science and technology.
is后面用了that后面应该跟从句啊.后面是一堆动宾短语,那就用不定式吧.

先把independently拿掉我们看一下,can后面可以跟to do么?can后面是动词原形.

中间的句号是打错了吧.既然后面都是不定式,那主语也用不定式,在结构上会更好看.另外demand是meet with.

总的来说,作者基础很好,但在细节需要注意.
另外,其实还有一些用词需要推敲,这里我主要陈列我发现的语法问题和明显的中式英语.
