Started from December 25,2008 to June 20,2011,the central bank had raised the deposit-reserve ratio 13 times,which had reached the peak of 21.5% on June 20,2011,its main aim was to tackle the inflation,reducing the amount of liquidity and the trade surplus,then it would reduce the speed of excesssive fast growth and prevent the economy from overheating.
