因为eat是一个动词,动词不能直接做主语,要把它变成动名词也就加ing的形式
the other后可加单数名词,也可加复数名词,此时的other作形容词On the other side of是固定句式
be busy doing 是固定搭配
spend……on/in sth 此处sth是指事情,play是个动词,要变成动名词
学语言不要问太多为什么,要去记那些固定搭配.
