After my husband and I spent a morning at the zoo with Joel,our four-year-old grandson,we stopped at a restaurant for lunch.When the waiter passed us some menus,my husband reached into his pocket for his glasses.He was disappointed to find that they were lost.“ I know where your glasses are,Grandpa,” said our grandson.
“ Where?” asked my husband happily.
“ They are at the zoo ”,Joel answered.“ When you took me off the train beside the elephants,they fell out of your pocket.”
My husband tried to control himself and he asked,“ Joel,if you saw my glasses fall out of my shirt,why didn’t you tell me?”
“ Well,Grandpa,” said Joel,“ after you put your food on them,I didn’t think you wanted them any more.”
