I was drafted into the Army at the end of my junior year and,after four years in the service,had no inclination to return to finish college.这个句子中为什么and 后面要加逗号,为什么不加在其前面呢?第二个逗号后的had是个动词,I后也是有动词was,这样不是一个句子有两个动词了吗?

本来应该是and had no inclination to return to finish college,这两个句子是分开的完整句子,所以自然各有各得谓语动词.
after four years in the service是插入语,所以前后要用逗号隔开

因为后面跟了一个时间的定语,是独立的,所以不能直接连接,and连接的是had no inclination....的句子.
上一个问题回答了,两个动词没错,但中间用and连接,当然没错啦
