（The magzine for which you ask ）is mine.若ask做不及物动词,为什么ask后面省去了for?而look for 就不能省?

这里并不是省略了for,而是把for 移到了which之前.
实际是the magazine which you ask for.

假如是which引导的定语从句，这种动词词组都可以把介词放到which前面，如： The magazine which you looked for=The magazine for which you looked

the place where you live 这句话对不对？中的live是不及物动词，因为where省去了in，那是不是该用in which？
