添Interesteding 是由于find sth + adj是固定短语 .一个句子只能有一个实义动词,添was interested不行,由于interesting和interested意义不同,interesting是使人感动有趣,但interested是指事物本色的状态.添was interesting把English was interesting看成一个句子,这样也行

由于find sth + adj是固定短语.而且interesting是修饰English的，English是物，用interesting
interesting是使人感动有趣，用来修饰物。但interested是指事物本色的状态，用来修饰人.

如果添was interested是可以的,可以作为find后面的一个从句,但是添was interest不可以.
interested是interest的形容词形式.
对于这个空来说,was interested和interesting都是可以的.
