准确的说两者不能等同!前者是大约两千学生,数目比较确定；而后者直译过来是大约数以千计的学生,是形容人多,Eg:there were thousands of people at the concert.有数以千计的人出席这次音乐会.（在这里是形容出席音乐会的人很多）
about 后可以加two thousand.表示说话人不确定到底是不是两千人!
