It was Bill's eighth birthday yesterday.He got lots of presents and his uncle bought a beautiful hat for him.He liked it very much.He thanked him and put it on at once.This morning,he went to school in it.But after he came back from school,it was torn and dirty.
"Oh,dear!" His mother called out,"What's the matter?"
"Mike forgot to bring his ball with him this afternoon." Said the boy.
"Did it have anything to do with your hat?"
"Yes,"said the boy."they kicked it as a football."
"What did you do,then?"
"I kept goal!"
