这个地方是被动式，省略为ed分词，被老师推荐 第一句的前半句是表示原因，后半句是结果，用逗号隔开 第二句也就是你的问题，是将it（即书）作为两句的结合点，原句是主动语态，it作宾语，连接时转化为被动语态，作完整的定语从句的主语i have borrowed the book （that has been ）recommended by the teacher. 第三句也是用的主动语态的简略式ing结构，完整的定语从句是We were able to find the boy（who was hiding） /hiding behind a tree.主动语态不管是一般现在是还是现在进行时都用ing结构来替代
