in (a) high spirits中的a应去掉，in high spirits才是固定搭配，精神抖擞，情绪高昂的意思

（the）必需，特指“最高点”，the top of the world 世界之巅
（a）不应该有。in high spirits 或in high spirit都可以，都是指兴高采烈、情绪高涨。但是a......spirits感觉完全没道理。

the 是有所指，世界之巅 a 是一种精神，泛指大家都能感觉到的那种精神
