因为这里把some food 看做的一个整体 .再说不知道some food具体表示的是什么 它是个不可数的 所以就用了is .

food 是一个大类，一般作不可数名词（当你讲到食物时，会想到什么呢？大多了吧？各种各样的，你怎么去数呢？用什么单位呢？）。
要注意的是，some不仅可以跟可数名词，还可跟不可数名词。你的问题可能主要出在这里。
