我怀疑下面一段英语范文有点问题,

这个词组用在这里是不太通顺.
under someone's nose就是中文说的就在眼皮底下的意思.是强调明明很容易看到或者察觉,但就是没看到.
比如：How did Mary not see the book?It was lying on the table right under her nose.
Mary怎么就没看到那本书呢?明明在桌上,就在她眼皮底下啊!
We can just start reducing waste from the little things under our noses.
这句话想表达的意思是我们可以从我们身边的小事着手来减少垃圾,用under our noses来表达“我们身边的”是有点不恰当.另外,这里的start from也不太正确,从某事或者某人开始一项任务应该是start with,而start from是指从某一特定点开始（特别是指旅行）,
比如：He started every thing from scratch.他一切从零开始.
或者：The journey started from California.旅程是从芝加哥开始的.
因而这句或者可以改写为：
We can just start reducing waste with the little things in our daily lives.
