我认为图形符号在平面设计中作为一种表达手段,具有交流的功能与目的,同时也具有了自己独特的形式与内涵.符号是把原本具有自己属性的事物用图形表现,脱离它原有属性的限制,将其理想化并为它赋予特定寓意产生出新的概念.在平面设计中对图形符号的正确解读,是对设计的衡量标准.平面设计应该选择并合理适当的利用符号语言,使用画面词汇达到丰富的状态.

I maintain graphic symbol serves as a means of expression in graphic design, communicating message as well as showing its own unique form and content. Symbol is a kind of message in the form of image,not limited by its attribute, to which new ideas are added. Understanding the graphic symbols well is a must in graphic.
In graphic design, we should choose and use the graphic symbols correctly, in order to rich the message transmitted by it.
