①人＋need ＋to do; ②物＋need ＋doing; ③物＋need ＋to be done.如：
The garden doesn't need watering—it rained last night.花园不用浇水了——昨夜刚下过雨.
A dog needs to be taken out for a walk every day.狗得天天带出去遛.
另外,need后还可以直接跟名词.如：
Do you need any help?你需要帮忙吗?
I need a watch.我需要一块手表.
