两圆半径相等，阴影部分的四边形四边均为圆的半径，故为边长为24/4=6的菱形，且XY也为圆的半径，与菱形四边均相等，连结XY可将菱形分为两个全等三角形，故菱形中较大的角为120°，每段优弧（即粗线的弧）长为圆周长的2/3，所以所求长度=4/3×2×6×π=16π
