I am honored to be here to give you a speech. Today, my topic is “Defeat makes me stronger”. Last week, I felt not very happy because of the midterm examinations. I didn’t do well in it. I have failed.
Once, my mother told me that only two kinds of animals could climb up to the top of the pyramids. One is the eagle, and the other is the snail. If it is doomed that I can’t be an eagle flying high. I would like to be a little snail who always believes that success in life comes from persistent efforts. Today if I get into the top fifteen, I will have a big success. If not, I will fail again. But I’ll collect my defeats as the paving stones on my way to success. I say to myself that I should face up to the defeats bravely. I believe myself and try my best. In this way, success will come soon! And I also believe that if who smiles till the last, who smiles best! That’s all, thank you!
