1.如果你在家多干点儿活,或许就好点儿（对事情有帮助）.
这里的around the house应该指的是“在家里面,在屋里”.
是虚拟语气,表示与现在事实相反的情况.
2.你知道,你多打几个电话也无妨.
it是形式主语,真正的主语是to call more often不定式短语.
hurt伤害.would可以不看作是过去式,只是表示委婉而已.再如
Could you please tell me ...
could也是客气而已.
