if only I can read two English novels a day as I read Chines

if only I can read two English novels a day as I read Chinese novels?
I can read two Chinese novels a day,but for English novels,
I am afraid that I can only read two or three chapters a day.
I dream that I read English novels as fast as I read
Chinese novels,so I can master it quite soon,but unfortunately
I often fail and give up because there are so many obscure
words and sentences which block my thought from time to time.
so how can I read English novels as fast as I do Chinese ones?
