Do you like the way (he speaks to you)?为什么括号前面不用加that,是作主语还宾语?好像只有作宾语that才可省略?
Idon't like the way that (you laugh at her).that是作主语还宾语?

定语从句 way做先行词时通常不加关系代词
he speaks to you this way
this way 在从句中做方式状语,this 可以省略

你考虑的不对。这里不是看that做什么语的。
the way后面只能接三种 1.省略 2.in which 3.that

这里 that=in which 因为还原后应是Do you like the way (that=in which ) he speak to you . which 后的从句 he speaks to you 是形式宾语

that做宾语是可以省略的,这里2个that恰巧都做了宾语,所一省略了
当然要加上去也是可以的,个人建议还是加着好,这样以防写错.
