Some employers believe that job applicants’
social skills are more important thantheir academicqualifications. Do you agree, or disagree with this opinion?
In modern society some employers tend to
employ someone who has high academic qualifications but the social skills are usually considered in second place. , Both of these though,are important for a person who is preparing to find a good occupation.
If a person only has social skills and low
academic level, he can interaut interact with some managers in other companies
which will possibly cooperate with his company.
Obviously, thisit is practically useful for the development
of a firm. Since he knows much about the society,
he can win the maximumprofits for his firm. Although he has a low academic level, he can alsodo his job well and even teach colleagues some social skills. Due to his
ability to deal with general things, the department he is in becomes more efficient than before.
A man who has a high academic level but little social skills also has
advantages, . For example, in some a cases, he
can provides some professional expertises that can boost the case to achieve the goals of the Company. His
academic qualifications are the evidence that can prove he has an independent
learning ability.This makes most employers sure he has an extraordinary ability than ordinary people.When there is a diffiulty, he often
has a clear brain to think how to deal with it. Most of these people often sit
in the office and they are responsible for a large numberof things inside the company.
Personally, I think the person who has many
social skills is better than the
person who has ahigh academicstatus. because social skills can make
people get along with others. This also proves that he has a flexible brain and can cope with a wide range of things. However,
it does not mean an achademic status is not important. It
also helps a company with many things regardless of staff.
