1、and连接的两个句子时态要一致，所以was应该改为am
2、please应该改为形容词pleased（相当于happy)

please表示“请”
pleased是表示“愉快，愉悦，高兴”
还有如果要用“我太高兴收到你的信了所以我要写信告诉你”的话就是I was so pleased to hear from you that I'm writing to tell you. 这样子
还有一个在网上不是很重要的错误就是没大写 但是I是要大写的...

please是动词，动词不能作表语，这里明显需要一个形容词来作修饰，
故用please的形容词形式pleased。
