emain seating 保持一直坐着的姿势（强调自愿主动坐下）
remain seated 保持就坐,表示被动地坐下（带有强制性）
显然在飞机着陆前,是强制要求坐下的.

seat用于seat oneself(这是主动），另一个是be seated.
如果你要用ing形式应该是sitting
