Ladies and gentlemen, good morning! My name is Sun Jia Qi. I’m a Grade 9 student in NO.10 middle school. And as a Grade 9 student, I have finished my Junior high school life. Now, I’m going to be a senior high school student in No.1 middle school. The age of mine is 14. At the end of this year, I will be 15. I am the youngest one in our class. I like to play computer games or watch scientific fiction movies in my spare time. Now, it’s the time of summer vacation. Summer vacation is boring, isn’t it? I have nothing to do! I just study for my senior high school life. People like me very much. So this is me, a happy boy.
So today I’d like to give you a speech. The title of it is: The day to be remembered.
June 14, it’s an important day in my life. On that day, I finished my junior high school life. It was also the day that I finished my secondary school entrance examination. I will be a senior high school student. I have told you that in my introduction. In my three year’s junior high school life, there are countless happiness and sadness. My classmates and I had a great time in the three years. On that day, I can’t say my feeling. Happy? Or sad? I don’t know. But only one thing is true: The days I stay with my classmates have already gone! It can’t come back. Every time if I think about this, I will feel so sad and even want to cry. But tears can’t bring us happiness, so I need to get ready for my senior high school life. There never was a feast but the guests have to depart--- all good things must come to an end. It’s right, isn’t it? We will say goodbye in our life all the time. And even one day we will say good bye to this world! A great ship asks deep waters. As a student, it’s not an end, but a beginning. We will meet more friends in our senior high school life.
