would rather这个词只能在不定式前否定,would rather(to)do,to在这里被省略,所以否定词not应该加在do的前面,意思是宁肯不做什么.
所以A和D被排除.B的so纯属多余.
所以这道题选C.
意思就是他们宁可不再讨论足球.
