The odds against him surviving are incredible. 那这句话怎么理解啊？直译就应该是：阻止他生还的可能性是难以置信的。变成中文就是他生还的几率很大但这句话正确的翻译是他生还的可能性太小。这又怎么解释= =。。好混乱啊。。。

这很好理解啊，阻止他生还的几率很大，当然就表示他活不了了嘛。我想你可能会对incredible的理解有点问题。incredible通常表示很好，很大的意思。
