关于英语主谓省略问题
( )with the size of the whole earth,the highest mountain does not seem high at all.
A when compared B compare C while comparing D comparing
这道题选A,我知道是省略了主谓,应该是when the highest mountain is compared 我想问是什么情况可以主谓省略,有什么说法,或是因为连词的原因,这道题是不是可以用compared也对呢?

当两个句子的主语完全一致时,则可省略.
其实这边句应该是,when it is compared with the ******
it is 被省略了.
用compared也对,但没有原句结构严谨.此句也可用 if compared with

当分句是由when和if 引导的时间状语从句和条件状语从句时，而且从句的主语也与主句的主语一致，从句的助动词为be时，才能省略主谓．比如：
When seen from the top of hill, the car is as small as a match box.
分句就把”it is ”省略了
