应该改为kinds.根据句意,那个living coral应为 the continental United States几种珊瑚中的一种,应表达为：the only one of kinds (of coral),of coral 省略了.如果表达为one of a kind of coral,意思为一类珊瑚中的一个.由于珊瑚不可数,“一个”的说话就说不过去,不过 one of a kind of students倒是对的
