rather than后面是不是加名词/动名词?
看下这句子：children should play outside rather than sit in front of a screen all day.这是个native speaker写的句子,但是我觉得rather than 后面不是应该加名词形式吗?sitting?

rather than doing / n
计科 加doing 还可以加n名次
在 这里 因为 前面的play 用的是原型,所以 后面的用do

我觉得你说的不对，不需要前后一致，第一，should后加原型，than介词后面加动名词。第二，以下为科林斯词典例句：Circumstances dictated that they played a defensive rather than attacking game.
