Hadn’t he said too much harsh words at that time he wouldn’t have regreted for the result that was made by those words.
有没有比harsh更地道的表达,后面result的那个从句有没有更准确的表达

刻薄的话用acerbic words/remarks比较好.
这句话直接变成Hadn’t he said too much acerbic words at that time,he wouldn’t have regreted for what he had said that day.
英语不注重直译,只要意思对就可以了.像好多中文翻译过的时候就已经经过修饰了

刻薄的话用tart words 也行，bring-down也行
后果可以换成consequence
