in fact,Peter would rather have left for shanghai than 什么 in new York 为什么是stayed,它说than的前后词保持一致,后面是纽约是个名词,那前面是stay的名词形式才对,为什么呢,我是新手虽然高二.

would rather do something than do something 宁愿做什么事而不愿做什么事
than 前后词保持一致是指than前后的动词保持形式一致 都是动词原型,但是后面的省略了 have
eg：I would rather have gone to the theatre than stayed home night.
stay 没有名词形式
