Where和Which作连接词的区别是什么

关系副词when, where, why,how的含义相当于"介词+ which"结构,因此常常和"介词+ which"结构交替使用,例如：
There are occasions when (on which) one must yield.
Beijing is the place where (in which) I was born.
Is this the reason why (for which) he refused our offer?
I’m surprised the way how (by which) he works out the problem

where=which place
where是副词，严格回答应当是表指地点的介词短语。
which是代词，回答地点名词就可以了。

where后跟地点状语从句
which一般跟定语从句 当先行词指物，并且在从句中做主语时，引导词可以用that /which
