首先你看这句话的谓语动词是gets,用的是第三人称单数是吧?说明该句子的主语是第三人称单数.
A选项中的and是并列连词,连接Jhon和I,主语是John和I,谓语动词应该用get,和gets矛盾.
像as well as,是不影响主语的.主语还是Jhon一个人.同样用法的还有along with 等.

就是说，用and的话，主语是John和我两个人，正确的句子应该是John and I never get up late. 用as well as 的话，主语只是John，正确的句子应该是John as well as I never gets up late. 了解？
