ather than引导的是平行结构,词组 rather than前面是什么词性的词组,其后面也一定是什么词性的词组.在本题中 rather than前面是个介词短语 to my air of assurance,在句中作状语,所以平行结构中rather than后面也必定是介词短语,所以介词to是不能省略的.
