Objective: to understand the junior middle school students' core self-evaluation and family functioning situation and deep discussion of family function and self evaluation and analysis of the relationship between family function, each factor of core self evaluation prediction. Methods: using family function questionnaire, core self evaluations in the four branch questionnaire, i.e. self-esteem questionnaire, general self-efficacy questionnaire, emotional stability and internal control questionnaire questionnaire. On350 junior high school students were investigated. Results: gender, grade, whether the only child and whether the boarding in the family function and self evaluation of each factor in the presence of significant differences; family function of certain factor and core self evaluation of each factor has different degree of correlation; and derived through regression analysis, family function factor in the general function, problem solving, behavior, emotion control interventional and emotional reactions to some extent on the core self evaluation prediction. Conclusion: the junior middle school students' core self-evaluation and family function significantly, presence of associated, family function quality and health status of children's growth and the evaluation of the self has certain effect. So we should adopt a more effective way to improve family function. The children get better perfect personality.
