thought与but,so用法的分别

so:"所以,因此",表因果关系,任何句都适用
I study hard,so I always get good grades.
"我努力学习,所以成绩总是很好"
but:"但是",表转折关系任何句都适用
Lily is a student,but I'm not a student.
"Lily是学生,但我不是学生"
though 习惯上不与 but 连用.汉语中可说“虽然…但是…”,但按英语习惯,通常不能说although…but?或though…but：
　　虽然很危险,但我要试试.
　　误：Although it is dangerous,but I will try.
　　正：Although it is dangerous,I will try.
　　正：It is dangerous,but I will try.

but

though和but 在句子里只能用其中之一
