为什么一些不及物动词的现在分词不能做表语 如increasing只能做定语,increasing demand.
不能说demand increasing .demand increases是可以说的.另外,可以说 demand of increasing吗?

第一：只有系动词后面才能做表语,比如：am,is,are,feel,sound等
第二：demand(vt.)+to do sth./+从句/+n./+of sb.to do sth.,作宾语.
第三：demand increases之所以可以这样说,是因为这里的increases是名词性质“增长”,而不是动词
第四：demand of increasing这个不可以这样说,increasing的是形容词“增长的",
