in 后面是不是省略了宾语（water),这是不是习惯用法,为什么可以省略,主句和分句的主语好像不同啊.

the water是全句的主语,once后面是状语从句,you是从句的主语,谓语是are ,in后面确实省略了water,但是语法中可以这样使用.这个用法很常用,比如：The lecture will be very interesting if you are really in.You will feel the room is very very clean once you are inside.
