Recently,we had a heated discussion about the causes of traffic accidents.Opinions are divided.About 57% of my classmates hold the view that cyclists are responsible for the traffic accidents because they frequently ignore the traffic rules.Moreover,cyclists often ride at a high speed.Howeverabout 40% ofthe students believe that drivers are to blame for the traffic accidents.First,they often drive fast.Second,some of them drive after they drink.Besides,many of them speak on the phone while driving.Only 3% of the students think that people's crossing the roads incorrectly leads to traffic accidents.
From my point of view,safety is of vital importance,so everyone should obey traffic rules.Only by doing so can traffic accidents be avoided.
