Well,it depends!
If just because you were busy,couldn't spare time to be with her,then,I am sure you should be able to work out a way to let her know and feel your love.
However,if it was her who wanted to play around and you didn't feel you could afford to do that,then,you don't even need to let her know as she doesn't deserve that.
