Singapore Primary School Leaving Examination(PSLE) 2009 maths question: Jim bought some chocolates and gave half of it to Ken. Ken bought some sweets and gave half of it to Jim. Jim ate 12 sweets and Ken ate 18 chocolates. The ratio of Jim’s sweets to chocolates became 1:7 and the ratio of Ken’s sweets to chocolates became 1:4. How many sweets did Ken buy? Solve it..
不是附带英语。。新加坡考试的媒介语就是英语。。 答案是68。。308是Jim的。。

要翻译还是什么？JIM买了一些巧克力，给了一半给KEN.KEN买了一些糖给了JIM一半。JIM吃了12颗糖，KEN吃了18个巧克力。JIM的糖和巧克力的比例是1比7，KEN的糖和巧克力的比例是1比4.问KEN买了多少糖。。。
答案的话：设JIM买了2X的巧克力，设KEN买了2Y的糖，二院一次方程组：4X=Y-18;-7X=-Y-84，最后算出来KEN买了308颗糖。。。
验算了一遍...

假使jim买了x个chocolates，ken买了y个sweets。则
1/2x：（1/2y-12）=7：1。。。。1
1/2y：（1/2x-18）=4：1。。。。2
由1，2得
x=308 y=68
so，that's the solution
