1、How many ( cakes )are there in the box?
为什么“how many”后面的cake要加s?
2、Running star Clark eats lots of healthy （food）
为什么lots of 后面的food不用加s
3、a pair of后面的东西要加s吗?有没有two pair of?如果有,

how many是问复数,cake是可数名词
如果是问how much的话后面的一般是不可数名词
food在一般的情况下是不可数的但有时也可数,像chocolate一样
例：I ate many chocolates and foods.
I ate much chocolate and food.
没有two pair of 这个短语应该是two pairs of才对
A pair of 双,对
a pair of shoes
a pair of socks
不过不是所有的都要加s
要看词性,具体问题具体分析
