If I had the opportunity to go back, I suppose I would maybe contemplate returning to Tang Dynasty. And there are a wide range of reasons surrounding it.
In the first place, we individuals can eliminate the grievous contaminations originating from the wastes dumped by industries practically all of which can render us being plagued with respiratory diseases or other illnesses. Surely, we human beings have been typically overlooking the issues of environment, which is very disturbing and alarming. In other words, some businessmen pursue the maximum profits and reduce the overhead costs as much as possible irrespective of whether their processes respect the environment or not. In that case, if I could go back, I would not have to be confronted with the gross exhaust fumes, moreover, I might be more healthy.
In the second place, I could check out the distinct culture, which can enrich my life experiences.
By that I mean, going back to that era could afford me first-hand experiences rather than the vicarious experiences from textbooks or other lectures. Accordingly, I could get a clear perspective of how the foods would taste, usual views of the public concerning life.
In addition to these mentioned above, I contend that I could impart the knowledge to them, consequently, the citizens could become much more intelligent, which might facilitate the growth of society. I could also assist them to legislate, which could keep the society safe and stable.
